The Coffee

We take the coffee seriously. Not ourselves.

Every cup starts with beans roasted in small batches by a roaster three streets away, in quantities small enough that nothing sits on a shelf for long.

Our baristas pull shots the same way every time, dial in every single morning before opening, and will always tell you honestly if the espresso isn’t tasting right today.

Our Story

Started with one machine and a stubborn idea.

Wei was a structural engineer who kept quitting his job in his head every Monday morning. Sarah ran the pastry program at a hotel downtown and wanted her recipes to reach more than one plate a night. In 2019 they bought a second hand espresso machine and started pulling shots for neighbours out of a rented shopfront on Yong Siak Street.

Nothing about Kopi & Crumbs is complicated. Good beans, good bakes, a room that feels like somebody’s front room, and enough regulars now that we know how you take your coffee before you’ve said a word.
